Teens Arrested In Connection With Burglaries
Galesburg Police are processing evidence after officers responded to a reported burglary in the 1000 block of North Cherry Street around 10:30 p-m last night.

The victim stayed on the phone with authorities after spotting a male subject in his garage.

After performing a search of the surrounding area, police arrested 19 year old Nino Pagan and 17 year old Tyson Twitchell in the 900 block of North Prairie Street.

Crime Scene Investigators are processing their vehicle in an attempt to connect them with a string of more than 20 burglaries plaguing Galesburg - which stretch back before Halloween.

Captain Rodney Riggs has been on record saying they have evidence which they believe could connect them to the other incidents.

Officers have reminded residents in recent weeks to lock the doors of their car overnight.

Both men are being held at the Knox County jail pending a bond hearing scheduled for tomorrow.

The investigation is continuing.
