Correction on Story Regarding Future Plans of Power Companies
(IRN) -- The Illinois Radio Network misidentified the speaker in two cuts and in the brief in a story headlined "Lawmakers Hear About Power Companies' Future Plans" that aired and was posted online on March 9. Where IRN identified the speaker as Jim Monk of the Illinois Energy Association, the actual speaker was David Kolata, executive director of the Citizens Utility Board. The mistake was due to a reporter error. The corrected story can be found HERE. WGIL News and especially the Illinois Radio Network regret the error.
