Galesburg Water Main Break Causes Service Disruption
POSTED 11:30 a-m 8/6/09 City crews have shut off water on North Broad Street, from Losey Street to North Street, to repair a water main break.

City officials say the disruption of water service is expected to last 4 to 6 hours. When water service resumes, a boil order for the affected area will be in effect for 24-48 hrs.

Door hangers are being left to notify water customers of the upcoming boil order. Customers will also be notified via door hanger when the boil order is lifted.
