|Marion E. Miyler, age 68 of Galesburg, Illinois died on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 3:40 P.M. at Seminary Manor, Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on July 28, 1943 in Monmouth, Illinois the daughter of Walter and Mildred Clendenen Eaton. She was raised in Berwick and graduated from Roseville High School. She married Don L. Miyler on April 10, 1989 in Springfield, Missouri.
Surviving are her husband, Don, of Galesburg, Illinois; one daughter, Julie (Dan) A'Hearn, of Galesburg, Illinois; one son, Todd (Kelly) Vilardo, of Charleston, Illinois; five grandchildren: Megan and Amanda Hurd, Colby Vilardo, McKenzie and Nicholas Vilardo; one brother, Kenny (Cheryl) Eaton, of West Pueblo, Colorado; and two sisters, Margaret (Paul) Crandall and Jan (Don) McIntyre, of Monmouth, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Doug; four sisters, Ardis, Evelyn, Shirley, and Deloris; and two brothers, Merrill and Vance.
She attended and was baptized in the Berwick Baptist Church in Berwick and later was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville, Illinois. She was a Home Interior Decorator with her sister, Jan, and was associated with Myrna Sanburg for many years. She loved her family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and fishing, and she was a Missouri Master Angler. She loved working with her hands, quilting, gardening, painting and crafting. She had an appreciation for all kinds of music and played the piano.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Her nephew, Chris McIntyre, will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Fellowship will follow the graveside services at the Hurd-Hendricks Fellowship Center in Knoxville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Seminary Manor or Hospice Compassus, Galesburg, Illinois.
