Nora L. Berg, 91, of Galesburg, died at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at home.
She was born December 31, 1920 in Green County, Ill. the daughter of Fred R. and Mary Magalene Clark. She married Robert S. Berg on June 9, 1957 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2005.
She is survived by two sons, Richard of Lufkin, Texas and Neil of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Nora was a laborer at Rockwell/Admiral Corporation for 14 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Galesburg and the Flemish American Club in Kewanee, Ill.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Oneida Cemetery. Rev. Tim Anderson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Altona. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
