Carolyn M. Ward, 73, of Woodhull, IL, died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her home. Services are 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Woodhull. Burial is in the Alpha Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home where a memorial fund will be established.
She was born March 7, 1939 in Kewanee, IL a daughter of Marvin and Beatrice Hand Good. She graduated from Cambridge High School and married Donald E. Ward October 27, 1957 in the State Road Church near Cambridge. Carolyn was a homemaker and was employed at various times as a Nurses Aid at area Nursing Homes and at Cottage Hospital retiring in 1974.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and especially being with her family.
Her parents, 1 son: Rusty; 1 sister and 1 great grandson preceded her in death.
