Gail Linn Gregory, 60, of Galesburg, died at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at home.
She was born January 19, 1950 in Monmouth, Ill., the daughter of Robert D. and Irene Settles Gregory.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina (and Doug) Gummerson of Galesburg, her granddaughter, Madison, two sisters, Pam (and Russell) Dunn of London Mills, Ill. and Wanda Deutscher of Galesburg, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Gail was an assembler for Maytag for 30 years, retiring in 2004. She graduated from Spoon River Valley High School in 1968. She lived most of her life in the London Mills area and moved to Galesburg in 2004. Gail enjoyed gardening, working crossword and other puzzles, and playing electronic games.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel.
