Dinwiddie, Roberta
Roberta Dinwiddie, 58, of 1326 Berwick Road, Berwick, died at 8:56 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2011 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

She was born January 5, 1953 in Spring Valley, IL, the daughter of Donald R. and Mildred L. Cundiff Pierce. She married Arthur W. Dinwiddie, Sr. on May 1, 2001 in Peoria, IL. He survives.

Also surviving is a son, Arthur W. (and Kim Goodell) Dinwiddie, Jr. of Berwick, four daughters, Shelia Mejia of Albuquerque, NM, Rita Mae (and Alan) Christie of Burlington, Iowa, Jane E. Cloyed of Burlington, and Debra Hippen of Albuquerque, eight grandchildren, four sisters, Connie Clift of Princeton, IL, Paulette (and Henry) Waldinger of Bradford, IL, Donna Robbins of Cullman, Ala., and Marilyn Pierce of Rome, IL, nieces and nephews of "Aunt Tootie", Christina and Matthew White, Ron and Gayla Robbins, and Carrie Pierce and great nieces and nephews, Alex, Lee, LaShay, and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sherry Ann Dinwiddie, three brothers, and a sister.

Roberta worked at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, IL for 10 years, for Caterpillar in Mossville, IL for seven years and at KCCDD in Galesburg for two years. She graduated from Peoria Woodruff High School in 1971 and Midstate College.

Roberta loved her dog Brown E.

Cremation will be accorded. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Rev. Tom Smith will officiate. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to Girl Scouts of America or Prairieland Animal Welfare Center. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
