|Robert B. "Bob" Cutts, 66, of 853 E. Fifth St., Galesburg, IL, died at noon on Saturday, January 1, 2011 in Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
He was born on July 10, 1944 in Galesburg to Harold W. and Lillian V. Gerling Cutts, Sr. He married Nancy I. Foor on December 6, 1963 in Galesburg. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Traci L. (and Jeff) Johnston of Amanda, Ohio and Terri Cutts of Knoxville, Ill.; a brother, Roger (and Alice) Cutts of Galesburg; two sisters, Kris (and Ted) Whitsitt of Galesburg and Judy (and Fred) Scalf of Riverview, Fla.; a special aunt, Edna Hinkson of Galesburg; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Cutts.
Bob worked at Maytag for 37 years, retiring in 1998. Following that he worked with Midwest Region Healthcare formerly, Option Care, for 6 years.
He was of the Lutheran faith, a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club. He loved golfing, bowling, Willy Nelson, and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. He also loved to boat and fish at the "River."
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Pastor Michel Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the Chapel. Cremation will follow the services. Memorials may be made to the Guardian Angels or to a charity of the donor's choice.
