Goff, David D.
David D. Goff, 38, of Rockford, IL, died at 10:52 p.m., Sat. Dec. 18, 2010 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford after a sudden illness.

He was born May 30, 1977 in Macomb, IL, the son of Don and Debra (Shepard) Goff. He was raised and educated in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High School in 1990 and later Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL in 1994.

David married Tedra Cronister in Pecatonica, IL on Oct. 2, 1999 and she survives.

David was employed as a assistant branch manager by Citizen Finance for 9 years. He was a member of the Pi Pi Rho Fraternity. David played baseball and golf both in high school and college. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

David loved his four cats, Seven of Nine, Gimli, Toby wan Kenobi and Nyxx and he dearly loved his family and friends.

Surviving family includes his wife, Tedra Goff of Rockford; parents, Don and Debra Goff of Monmouth; brother, Donald (Kari) Goff; nephew, Brandon Goff; niece, Kiersten Goff all of Milan; paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. William Goff; mother in law, Jackie Christen and sister in law, Bethy Cronister both of Pecatonica; brother in law, William Cronister of Rockford; several aunts, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wayne Shepard and Phyllis Shepard, father in laws Martin Cronister and Richard Christen.

Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Jan. 8th 2011 at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth with Pastor Bill Pitman of the Grace Bible Church officiating. Cremation has been accorded with burial in Warren County Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Monmouth-Roseville Education Foundation (David Goff Memorial Baseball Scholarship Fund). Online condolences may be left at hooverhall.com
