Robert E. Haffner, 91, Galesburg, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Rosewood Care Center in Galesburg.
He was born Sept. 20, 1920, in Browning, to Charles and Ida Bates Haffner. He married Mary Bradbury.
He is survived by a daughter, Sharon (Alfred) Rossell of Geneseo; a son, Ron Haffner of Galesburg; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; three sisters; and two brothers.
Graveside memorial service will be at noon Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at East Midway Cemetery in London Mills. There will be no visitation.
