Natalie Jacobus Collins, 91, of Galesburg died at 2:23 am Wednesday, January 04, 2012 in Rosewood Care Center.
She was born September 20, 1920 in Paterson, New Jersey the daughter of Roy H. and Dorothy Smythe Fishler Jacobus. She married David Hayden Collins in August of 1942 in Cedar Grove, NJ. He preceded her in death in December 1985.
She is survived by two sons, David D. Collins of Galesburg and Roy Jacobus (and Karen) Colllins of Gaithersburg, Maryland and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant daughter, Susan Jane Collins in 1948.
Natalie was a homemaker and had graduated from high school in Bloomfield, NJ. She has lived in Galesburg the last 8 years.
No services are scheduled. Cremation will be accorded. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
