Cameron, Lois I.
Lois I. Cameron, 81, of Galesburg, died at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Heartland Health Care Center.

She was born February 2, 1930 in Victoria, Ill. the daughter of Ralph and Margaret Fitzgerald Hager. She married Charles R. Cameron on May 3, 1963 in Galesburg. He survives.

Also surviving is a son, James M. (Delores) Quinn of Galesburg; two daughters, Lynne A. Bruyn and Stephanie Line, both of Galesburg; four grandchildren, Tony Quinn, Cameron Line, Erin Kilgore and Blair Bruyn; and one great grandson, Bryon Quinn. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Lois worked as a beauty operator for 25 years at O.T. Johnson. She retired in 1985. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1948. She was a member of Lake Bracken County Club Golf Association and the First Christian Church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the First Christian Church. Revs. Greg and M.J. Fitch will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in East Linwood Cemetery.
