|Sharon M, Kaletsch, 62, Gulfport, Miss., formerly of Galesburg, Ill., died at 9:22 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Gulfport.
She was born Feb. 4, 1949, in Galesburg, Ill., to Edward A. and Lydia (Anderson) Gallagher. She married Edward Kaletsch on Jan. 10, 1970, at First Christian Church in Galesburg.
Surviving are her husband; her mother; two daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Foley and Cheryl Kaletsch, both of Ocean Springs, Miss.; stepdaughter, Sue (Dwayne) Mesecher of Galesburg; stepsons, Rodney (Beth) Kaletsch, Huntsville, Ala. and Mark (Tanja) Kaletsch, Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Pamela Nameniuk of Pullayup, Wash. and Patricia (Bob) Bengtson of Kewanee, Ill.; brothers, Steven (Jodie) Gallagher, Kewanee, and James Gallagher, Danny Gallagher and Robert Gallagher, all of Galesburg; three grandchildren, Brittany Santamaria, Avery Kaletsch and Alex Foley; and several stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Dennis Gallagher and Michael Gallagher; and a stepson, Tony Kaletsch.
Sharon was a homemaker. She attended Toulon schools. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on the back of a Harley motorcycle with the wind blowing through her hair. Sharon enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos where she was very lucky on the slot machines.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
