Fullerton, Dwain
Dwain H. Fullerton, 91, of Keithsburg, Il died at 7:40 A.M. Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Aledo Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Aledo, IL.

He was born April 24, 1919 in Abington Township, Mercer Co. IL. the son of Robert Dugan and Ona Ann (Harrison) Fullerton. He was raised and educated in Keithsburg, graduating from Keithsburg High School in 1936.

Dwain married Mary Elizabeth Pepper in Seaton, Il on June 12, 1941 and she died Oct. 30, 1999.

Dwain farmed on the family farm east of Keithsburg his entire life before retiring in 1990. He also drove a petroleum truck for his son, Ron Fullerton in the Keithsburg area.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Keithsburg and the I.O.O.F , Keithsburg lodge.

Surviving family include his 3 sons, Ronald D. (Betty) Fullerton, Dennis R. (Diana) Fullerton both of Ketihsburg, IL and Roger L. (Linda) Fullerton of Orleans, IN; 5 grandsons, 4 step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 9 step-great grandchildren; one brother, Burt (Shirley) Fullerton of Monmouth, several nieces and nephews; one brother in law, Leonard Pepper of Tulsa, OK; one sister in law, Lena Pepper of Roseville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and infant daughter and another daughter, Marsha K. Fullerton.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Wed. Feb. 9, 2011 at First Christian Church of Keithsburg with Rev. Charles Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at the First Christian Church of Keithsburg where the family will be present from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Keithsburg. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be left at hooverhall.com
