EDITH L. CARLSON, age 62, of Burlington, Iowa died at 3:40 P.M. on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at her daughter's home in Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on April 12, 1948 in Alexis, Illinois, the daughter of Finus and Ceacle Laney Britt Davis.
Surviving are:
Daughters: Amy Davis of Galesburg, Illinois
Becky Vance of Galesburg, Illinois
Son: Curtis Carlson of Galesburg, Illinois
Eight Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren
Sisters: Mable Magner of Media, Illinois
Millie Winchell of Burlington, Iowa
Carol (Fred) Eastman of Warner Robins, Georgia
Brother: Raymond (Ret Helfrich) Davis of Ewing, Missouri
Everett Davis of Reno, Nevada
Preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
She was raised and educated in Galesburg, Illinois area.
She worked at Hobby Lobby in Burlington, Iowa.
She enjoyed country living and flower arranging.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Services will be held at a later date.
Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois in charge of arrangements.
