ROBERT L. MARQUITH, age 69, of Rockford, Illinois formerly of Galesburg and Knoxville, Illinois died at 12:55 A.M. on Friday, February 4, 2011 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois.
He was born on February 16,1941 in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Edwin M. and Elizabeth Wallick Marquith.
He married Janice Gregory on August 30, 1997 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
She survives of Rockford, Illinois.

He was raised and educated in Galesburg and Knoxville, Illinois attending Knoxville High School.
He worked at Gale Products in Galesburg, Illinois for 22 years; then Adams Press Metals in Galesburg, Illinois and then as factory manager at Custom Metals in Rockford, Illinois, retiring in 2003.
He attended Heartland Community Church in Rockford, Illinois. He enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren, playing cards with his family, cooking, fishing and fixing things.
A Celebration Of Life will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Heartland Community Church, 1280 South Alpine Road, Rockford, Illinois with Visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Michael McDermott officiating.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, Illinois with Visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Dave Scholl officiating.
Burial in Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, Illinois.
