Lough, Anita
Anita R. Lough, 95 of Galesburg, IL passed away Sunday February 6, 2011 at the St. Marys Medical Center Galesburg, IL. She was born July 14, 1915 in Monmouth, IL the daughter of Ernest J. and Carrie E. Huntley Stevens. She married Marcus S. Knuth in 1933 he preceded her on December 19, 1971 she later married Douglas A. Lough on June 29, 1951 in Galesburg, IL.

She is survived by four sons Marcus E. Knuth of Galesburg, IL, James W. Knuth of Galesburg, IL, Daniel R. Knuth of Galesburg, IL and Donald L. Knuth of Mendota, IL; one daughter Sherry Ruth Weedman of Wyoming, IL; she raised Ronnie Knuth a grandson; two stepsons Alfred Lough of Peoria, IL, and James Lough of Muscatine, IA; one stepdaughter Doris Kelly of Pinehurst, TX; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters Belva Bringman of Galesburg, IL and Jean Huntley of Galesburg, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, 4 sisters and 1 brother.

She was born and raised in the Monmouth community area. after marriage she moved to Dallas City where she lived a long time, later moving to Roseville, Dahinda to Keithsburg; the last 14 years in Galesburg, IL. She worked Lomax Caning Factory, Admirals, and the Rubber Factory of Iowa. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Keithsburg, IL and the Harvest Church of East Galesburg.

Funeral service will be Friday February 11, 2011, 2:00 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Roseville Cemetery, Roseville, IL. Memorials may be made in her memory. Please sign the guestbook at www.cormanmh.com.
