IRENE I. RENWICK, age 94, of Galesburg, Illinois formerly of Williamsfield and Knoxville, Illinois died on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 8:44 A.M. at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois.
She was born on June 30, 1916 in Dahinda, Illinois, the daughter of Cleve Edward and Ethel Fern Smith Brooks.
She married Harold Bruce Renwick on January 6, 1936 in Altona, Illinois.
He preceded her in death on April 13, 1997.
Surviving are:
Daughter: Darlene Renwick of Galesburg, Illinois
Several Nieces and Nephews
Her parents, husband, three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
She worked as the former Parkview Hotel and the former Pitman's Café in Williamsfield, Illinois.
She was a member of the Williamsfield United Methodist Church in Williamsfield, Illinois and a member of the Church Women's Quilting Club.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois with Visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Randy Douglass officiating. Burial in Trenton Cemetery in rural Dahinda, Illinois.
