Molinero, Della
Della Molinero, 85, of Galesburg, died at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

She was born December 24, 1926 in Cameron, Ill., the daughter of Jose and Theadora (Gomez) Pacheco. She married Juan M. Molinero on March 18, 1972 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1988.

She is survived by six children and 11 grandchildren, Danny Rincon of Galesburg and son, Danny Jr.; Richard (and JoAnn) Rincon of Emporia, Kan. and children, Michelle, Richard Jr., and Michael; Beverly Razo (and Gavino Alanis) of Muscatine, Iowa and children, Manuel and Lucy; Tony Rincon of Muscatine, Iowa and daughter Jennifer; Joey (and Sandi) Ruiz of El Dorado, Kan.; and Patrick Ruiz of Galesburg and children, Chris, Patrick Jr., Josh, and Della. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Louis "Shorty" Pacheco and Jesse (and Diane) Pacheco, both of Galesburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; a sister; and a sister-in-law, Carolina Pacheco.
Della worked for many years at the Hotel Custer, Rib Shack, and Taco House. She retired from Knox College. She loved to go play bingo with her dear friend, Antonia. Della loved music and dancing and cooking for her family. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Rev. William Miller will officiate. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with the Rosary prayed at 8 p.m. Additional visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
