Ione R. Hamman, 94 of London Mills, IL passed away Saturday February 25, 2012, 5:18 pm at her home.
She was born February 28, 1917 in London Mills, IL the daughter of Keith and Faira Cowman Smith. She married Kenneth Hamman on February 8, 1941 in Palmyra, MO; he preceded her on March 6, 2008.
She is survived by one daughter Jitana (Hubert) Stott of St. Augustine Beach, FL; two granddaughters Monet Allen of Satellite Beach, FL and Tenelle Recto of North Palm Beach, FL; 2 great grandchildren Asher, and Hayden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 sister.
She was in Civil Air Patrol for over 20 years. She was a member of the London Mills Woman's Club, London Mills Community Association for over 20 years and the American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral service will be Wednesday February 29, 2012; 10:00 am at the London mills United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends on Tuesday February 28, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the London Mills United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the West Midway Cemetery London Mills, IL.
