|Geneva V. Lundeen age 100, formerly of Oneida, Ill. died Saturday March 20, 2010 at 1:10 a.m. at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg.
She was born March 16, 1910 the daughter of William A. and Anna L. Miller Ashley. Geneva married Glen W. Lundeen in Galesburg on September 3, 1927. He preceded her in death August 11, 1996.
She is survived by one son, Frederick (and Pauline) Lundeen of Tequesta, Fla., four daughters, Anna J. (and Roy) Steck of Galesburg, Eva M. (and Harold) Weber of Mediapolis, Iowa, Joyce (and Bill) Rednour of Atkinson, Ill., and Judy Rylander of Oneida, Ill., 19 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, George and his wife Janet, one daughter, Dorothy Pitman and her husband Ross, one son-in-law, Chuck Rylander, and one sister, Leatha Harriman.
Geneva graduated from Rio High School and worked as a department manager at the former O.T. Johnson Department Store in Galesburg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday March 24, 2010 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tom Larsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
