Charles G. Ferry, age 70, of Maquon, Illinois died on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 2:35 A.M. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.
He was born on October 15, 1939 in Maquon, Illinois, the son of Frank C. and Mary Lou Hurt Ferry.
He married Judy on January 14, 1989.
She preceded him in death on June 23, 1989.

Brothers: Donald (Ann) Ferry of Peoria, Illinois, Jim (Fran) Ferry of Maquon, Illinois and Frank Ferry of Maquon, Illinois
Stepsister: Margaret Doty of Salt Lake City, Utah
Stepbrother: John (Hollamae) Bohlander of Keithsburg, Illinois
Preceded in death by his parents and half-sister: Helen Donaldson
He was raised and educated in Maquon, Illinois graduating from Spoon River Valley High School in 1957. He was a machine operator for Caterpillar for 30 years, retiring in 2007. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gambling.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Maquon United Methodist Church in Maquon, Illinois. Rev. Dan Doty officiating.
Private Inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery in Galesburg, Illinois at a later date.
