Daryl D. Humes, 54, of Alexis, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his home.
He was born October 29, 1956 at Monmouth, the son of Herbert J. and Edith L. (Kirchner) Humes. He was raised and educated in Biggsville and Alexis.
He was a farm laborer for Hunter/Shike Farms, working for David Shike. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
His family includes sisters and brother, Irvin (Louise) Humes of Freeport, TX, Ruby (Richard) Dempsey of Lincoln, Montana, Richard A. (Cindy) Humes of Little York, Jane (Thomas) Van Winkle of Alexis, Duane (Rosemary) Humes of Little York and Loren Humes of Great Falls, Montana along with nieces and nephews.
His parents, sisters, Joyce McGuire and Ruth Jones and an infant brother, David Humes, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been accorded . A family visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Village Baptist Church, Alexis.
