Brownless, Lorene O.
Lorene O. Brownless, age 90, of Knoxville, Illinois died at 12:33 P.M. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at the Knox County Nursing Home.

She was born on June 9, 1921 in Salem, Iowa the daughter of Fred and Susie Barton McWilliams. She married James W. Tarochione on September 18, 1939 in Randolph, Utah. He preceded her in death on September 2, 1951. She then married Richard D. Brownless on Mary 23, 1964 in Knoxville, Illinois. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1988.

Surviving are two sons: Michael L. (Linda) Tarochione of London Mills, Illinois and Richard L. (Patty Nievas) Brownless of Rock Island, Illinois. One daughter: Lea M. (Robert) Cain of Galesburg, Illinois. Nine Grandchildren: Lance (Roberta) Tarochione of London Mills, Illinois; Vince (Theresa) Tarochione of St. Augustine, Illinois; Amy (Michael) Hubbard of North Liberty, Iowa; Kelly (Micheal) Utt of Trivoli, Illinois; Rachel (Dustin Johnson) Brownless of Rockford, Illinois; Angela Rogers of Dahinda, Illinois; Jonah, Hannah, and Joy Cain of Galesburg, Illinois. Thirteen Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one grandson and one great granddaughter.

She was raised and educated in Mount Pleasant, Iowa and Knoxville, Illinois. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for the Bud Klinck Store, Knoxville High School and the Galesburg Brickyard.

She was a member of the First Untied Presbyterian Church and active in the Resale Shop for many years.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. David Shreeves officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, Friday, March 15, 2012 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Fellowship will be at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home Fellowship Center.
