|Norman R. Bell, 76, of Monmouth, IL passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013, 1:05 am. He was born February 14, 1937, in Chariton, IA the son of Raymond and Mary Birdsell Bell. He married Pat Hamilton on August 1, 1975, in Stronghurst, IL.
He is survived by five daughters Leslie Coe and Zachary Coe(Grandson)of Forney, TX and Linda (Ken) Brohman of Monmouth, IL, Karla (Ronnie) Todd of West Point, IA, Lori (Mike) Taylor of Roseville, IL, and Sherri (Rick) Haley of Farmington, IL; grandchildren James Patrick Sheppard, Britteny Haley, Shane Pinson, Ryan and Chad Sherman, Sommer Strickland, Rhiannon Betson, Coyte Todd, Chrissy Russell and Tayna Blakeman and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.
He was born and raised in Chariton, IA, then moved to Burlington, IA and then to Stronghurst, Il in 1975. In 1993 he moved to Lake Warren. He worked at Quality Control Management of Modern Welding for 27 years. He served in the US Army and the Air National Guard where he retired after 25 years in 1997.
