England, Eugene Eck
Eugene "Gene" Eck England, age 84 of Oneida, IL passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 12:25 P.M. at Heartland Health Care Center in Galesburg, Illinois.

Gene was born on August 15, 1928 in Galesburg, Illinois to Keith and Miriam (Eck) England. He married Earlene Stine in Knoxville, Illinois on August 28, 1949. She survives of Oneida, IL

Also surviving are his children: Sandra England of Galesburg, IL, Mary Lou (Chuck) Park of Germantown Hills, IL, Rosemary (Ron) McGraw of Bloomington, IL, and Stephen (Brenda) England of Oneida, IL; seven grandchildren, Jeff Park of Germantown Hill, IL, Jennifer Park of Metamora, IL; Mallory McGraw of Thibodaux, LA, Sarah (Kyle) Buffo of Chicago, IL, Michael McGraw of Normal, IL, Keith England of Oneida, IL and Nelson England of Oneida, IL, two great grandchildren, Addy and Sib Buffo of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by one brother Donald (Peggy) England of Galva, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David England.

Gene graduated from Knoxville High School in 1946. He career was farming all of his life. His passion was his children, grandchildren, livestock and crops. Gene was a member of the Oneida United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of the Knox County Livestock Feeders Association; Knox County Cattlemens Association; Knox County Pork Producers Association.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, IL. Private Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes in Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. David Pyell will officiate. Interment will be in the Oneida Cemetery, Oneida, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Knox County Fair Junior Livestock Show, or the United Church of Oneida, Illinois.
