|George E. Gaston, 81, of Roseville, IL passed away Wednesday April 7, 2010, 7:40 pm at the Roseville Country Manor.
He was born March 6, 1929 in Virginia, MO the son of George and Alpha Clark Gaston. He married Beverly Howard on April 16, 1950 in Nevada, MO. She preceded him on September 13, 2005.
He is survived by one daughter Georgia (Tim) Randall of Roseville, IL; 4 grandchildren Amanda, Nicole, Jonathan, and Benjamen; and 4 great grandchildren Makensie, Jackson, Lily, and Jayden; two brothers Cecil Gaston of Amoret, MO and Floyd Gaston of Butler, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 1 daughter (Cathy Gaston), 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
George was raised on a farm. He was an electrician and a house painter. He worked for Fairbanks Morse in Kansas for 41 years. He graduated from Butler High School. He was a member of the Roseville Christian Church, and the Masonic Lodge. He was an active member of West Ridge Christian Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved to fish for a hobby.
Family will receive friends Friday eve April 9, 2010 from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery Kansas City, KS.
