Griswold, Clark Duane
Clark Duane Griswold 83 of Berwick, IL passed away Tuesday April 13, 2010, 11:50 am at the Roseville Country Manor Roseville, IL

He was born December 31, 1926 in McDonough County, IL the son of Ivan and Neva Fowler Griswold. He married Dorothy Jean Trummel daughter of Dr. Russell G. and Grace Phillips Trummel on September 9, 1946, in Rock Island, IL, She survives.

He is survived by five children Linda J (James) Hinchee of Bloomington, IL, Saundra L. (William) Hutchins of Decatur, IL, Michael C. (Amy) Griswold of Berwick, IL, Marna L. (Roger) Holt of Enola, PA, and Melanie J. (Lawrence) Anderelli of Fountain Hills, AZ; grandchildren James R. (Beth) Hinchee, Shannon C. (Richard) Beck, Stephen R. Hutchins, Laura J. Hutchins, Dianne M. (William) Edley, Clark E. Griswold, Robert C. Holt, Duane M. (Chestina) Holt, Connie Holt, Phillip C. Anderelli and step granddaughter Maya C. (Corey) Offenbach; great grandchildren Sean Hinchee, Niamh Hinchee, Catlin Hinchee, Richard Beck III, Maxmillian Beck, Alexander Griswold, Lance Griswold, Jack Griswold, William Edley, Ethan Edley, Cedric Edley, Brayden Hutchins and Ciara Holt and step great granddaughter Chelsea P. Boyd; one brother Damon Griswold. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister (Dorothy Beal), 2 brothers (Glennon and Donald Griswold), and 1 granddaughter (Janet Hutchins).

Clark Graduated from Western Illinois State Teachers College in 1946 and taught high school math in Havana, IL from 1946-1950. He worked for the Monmouth ASCS Office in the mid 1960's. He farmed in Berwick, IL. He also sold Custom Advertising. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion. He loved to golf, and was a member of the Roseville United Methodist Church.

Graveside service will be Saturday April 24, 2010, 11:00 am at the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday April 23, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL.
