|Louise S. Adams 91, of Roseville, IL passed away Friday January 15, 2010, 10:30 am at OSF Saint Mary Medical Center Galesburg, IL.
She was born August 1, 1918 East of Raritan, IL the daughter of to Harold and Florence Rankin Sweasy. She married Doren M. Adams on November 30, 1936 in Kahoka, MO.
She is survived by one daughter Susan A. Watt of Roseville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, step mother, grandparents, and 1 son-in-law.
Louise was raised by her paternal grandparents Addie and James Sweasy in Monmouth at age three. She graduated from Stronghurst High School in 1936, she then attended Drake University in Des Moines for two years. After marriage she and her husband operated with partners the National Cafe in Roseville, The Macomb Holiday Inn, and the Barnstormer in Monmouth, IL, they really enjoyed their work and customers. In retirement she enjoyed her bridge clubs and long time friends in Roseville.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a graveside memorial service will be Saturday May 1, 2010, 1:00 pm at the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery, Roseville, IL.
