|Mary L. Craig, 76, of Altona, Ill., died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her son's home in Milan, Ill.
She was born March 3, 1936 in Galesburg, Ill. the daughter of Howard and Margaret McAuley Wyman. She married Forrest Craig in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2005.
She is survived by three children, Patricia Cooley of Galesburg, John Cooley of Milan, Ill., and Cindy Koller of Madison, Wis.; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, John (and Debbie) Wyman and David (and Paula) Guerin, both of Galesburg; three sisters, Dorothy (and Everett) VanDuyn of Texas, Wilma (and Jack) Cadwell of Galesburg, and Rose (and John) Williford of Collison, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Cooley in 1995; two sisters and a brother.
Mary worked at the former Admiral Corporation for 31 years, retiring in 1996. She lived in Galesburg until 1966 when she moved to Altona. Mary enjoyed horseback riding, spending time with her grandchildren, and always looked forward to her annual vacation.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. David Pyell will officiate. There will be no visitation.
