|Eva Mae Teel, 95, of Galesburg, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in Rosewood Care Center.
She was born March 22, 1917 in Galesburg, the daughter of Martin I. and Hazel M. Sutton Bower. She married Edward Morse, in 1938 in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death. She then married John Henry Teel on October 5, 1957 in Macomb, Ill. He preceded her in death October 16, 1974. She married Dan Frye (deceased).
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mildred Fisher.
She is survived by a son, Richard A. (and Erlene) Morse of Galesburg; two daughters, Madeline (and Raymond) Seeman of St. Paul, Minn. and Barbara (and Merlin, deceased) Potts of Galesburg; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and seven step; and seven great great grandchildren and two step; two brothers, Robert Dennis Bower of Roseville, Ill. and Leo Edward Bower of Snohomish, Wash.; and one sister Margaret (and Russell) DeWitt of Minnesota, formerly of Galesburg, Il.
Eva worked in housekeeping at Knox College for a time and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Church of God.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at First Church of God. Rev. Dennis McQuown and Rev. Don Reynolds will officiate. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God or the family.
