|Sullivan Ryan Ogden, age 2, of Denver, CO, left his earthly home to join his Heavenly Father on April 5, 2013, surrounded by his loving parents, brother, and grandparents at Colorado Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO at. 5:46 P.M. He was born the son of Andrew and Erin (Peirce) Ogden on March 8, 2011 in Scottsdale, AZ.
In his two short years, he touched the lives of all who met him with his infectious smile and contagious belly laugh. Sully wouldn't pass up an opportunity to be held and be snuggled. He loved playing outdoors and was Daddy's little sports fan. He loved Elmo and Thomas the Train. He had a great fondness for dogs and will be sadly missed by the family's pets, Bella and Millie.
Sullivan is survived by his parents and big brother Emerson (3) of Littleton, CO, maternal grandparents Bob (Jenny) Makiney of Monmouth, IL, Rob (Marianne) Peirce of Cameron, IL, paternal grandmother Joyce Ogden of Huntington, IN, Uncles Ryan(Courtney) Peirce, Green Bay, WI, Marc (Beth) Peirce, Port Byron, IL, Brian (Janis) Makiney, Washington, IL, John Makiney of Macomb, IL, Anthony (Chris) Ogden, Indianapolis, IN and cousins Max, Blaise, Jack, & Avery Peirce, Nolan & Stella Peirce, Logan Makiney, and Lucas & Jacob Ogden. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Phillip Ogden.
A celebration of Sullivan's life will be Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 3:00 P.M at Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth, Ill. The family will receive loved ones from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial fund has been established to be designated later. McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory in Monmouth is in charge of the arrangements.
