Jimmy Allen Thompson, Jr., age 27, of Bellevue, Nebraska died on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Nebraska.
He was born on October 6, 1982 in Galesburg, Illinois, the son of Jim A. and Lila Ann Word Thompson.
Surviving are:
One sister: Delilah “Dee Dee” (Sam) Hill of Maryville, Tennessee
One brother: Joshua Thompson (April Cann) of Galesburg, Illinois
His companion: Amanda Lynn Bomer of Bellevue, Nebraska, several aunts, uncles, and cousins and two nieces
His parents preceded him in death.
He was raised and educated in Galesburg, Illinois attending Galesburg High School. He worked for the Galesburg Register-Mail as a truck driver before moving to Bellevue, Nebraska.
He enjoyed putting together model cars, cooking, watching horror movies, camping, fishing, playing with his RC gas-powered car and his puppy.
He loved his dogs.
Cremation Rites will be accorded.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. at Hurd Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois with visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M. Rev. Milton Marquith officiating. Inurnment in Wataga Cemetery will be held at a later date.
