M. Adeline Reed, 83, of Abingdon, IL passed away Monday April 30, 2012, 5:35 pm at the Care Center of Abingdon. She was born September 29, 1928, in Avon, IL the daughter of Harley J. and Marjorie Ann Wilson Eathington. She married Calvin L. Reed on August 31, 1949.
She is survived by one grandson Beau Pedersen of Galesburg, IL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter (Lynn), and 2 sisters.
She was born in Avon where she has lived most of her life. She worked as a telephone operator from June 1946 to February 1987 for Centel.
Memorial graveside service for Adeline and Lynn will be held Saturday May 19th 2012, at the Avon Cemetery, Avon, IL. Memorials may be made to the Avcom Park. Please sign the online guestbook at www.cormanmh.com. Corman Memorial Home Avon is in charge of the arrangements. |
