Eiker, Erma
Erma Eiker, age 100, of Knoxville, Illinois formerly of Galesburg Towers, was called home to be with the Lord, May 7th 2013.

Erma was born Sept. 2, 1912 at the log cabin in Knoxville to Ross and Lola (Miller) Van Pelt. She married Daniel Myers Eiker July 13, 1930. They had 3 sons, Bobbie (Norma) (Betty) Eiker, who precedes her in death; William (Janet) Eiker of Knoxville; and David (Georganna) of Cameron, Illinois.

Erma and Daniel lived on the Eiker farm where their 3 sons were born.
After the death of Daniel she married Lester Wagher.

She worked at the Hobby Grilll, St Martha Nursing Home, and operated a cleaning service with her sister Louisa Strahlman.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Debbie (Jr) Weedman, Daniel (Jane) Eiker, Leanne (Ted) Montgomery, Sara (Bill) Barnato, David (Joye) Eiker, Rodney (Teresa) Eiker, Susan (Steve) Bell, Dan (Jolene) Eiker, Joni (Tim) Bradshaw, Dawn Eiker. Great grandchildren: Kimberly Close, Kristin Allison, Kathryn (Dr. John) Henner, Drs. Sara (Antonio) Giordano and Jennifer Barnato, Rebecca (Tim) Blair, Daniel, Remington Bell, Jason, Ryan, Sean Montgomery, Amber (Brad) Fones, Hali and Megan Bradshaw, Tyler Eiker, Daniel (Amanda) Eiker, United States Army, Chad and Cody Eiker, Amy (Troy) Crum. Great great grandchildren: Chad Coldwell, Kody Wolfe US Army Serving in Afghanistan, Kassidy Wolfe, Alexa Allison,Landon and Lanie Crum, Katlyn and Chloe Henner, Hope and Roger Blair, Teddy and Isabella Fones, Abriel Eiker, Lily and Dakota Eiker.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Rev. Michel D. Clark will officiate. Interment will be in the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. A Celebration of her Life luncheon will be held at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home Fellowship Center in Knoxville, Illinois.
