Poulson, Patricia P.
Patty P. Poulson, East Galesburg, IL died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 12:22 am surrounded by her family.

She was born to Fred E Lynch and Martha Pearl (Cronkhite) Lynch on November 25, 1932 the 7th of nine children.

She attended East Galesburg schools and graduated from Knoxville High School. She married Richard (Dick) E Poulson on October 28, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1998.

She is survived by one daughter Anna (Rick) Roberts, Galesburg, IL and two sons Rick (Lisa) Poulson, East Galesburg, IL and Kevin Poulson, Rushville, IL. Eleven grandchildren, Timathie, Amber, Kevin, Josh, Rex, Nathan, Stephanie, Brandon, Patrick, Hannah, and Caleb and Fifteen great-grandchildren. One brother Fred Lynch Knoxville, IL, one sister Donna Johnson, Jeff City, Mo. and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding her in death is one son Patrick Poulson, one great-grandson Bryce Fleming, her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

She worked for many years at Admirals. In her earlier years she enjoyed golfing with her husband and son Patrick. Patty loved to have her grandchildren stay with her often. She loved to have her flower and vegetable gardens. She was an avid reader and could put a 1000 piece puzzle together in a day. She enjoyed traveling to Missouri to visit her sister several times a year; they spent their time together going to different casinos. She lived her life to the fullest and loved her family dearly.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville. The Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home. Rev. Shawn Karns will be officiating. Interment will take place at the Knoxville Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
