Terry I. Benedict, age 55, of East Galesburg, Illinois died on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 1:10 A.M. at his residence in East Galesburg, Illinois.
He was born on August 31, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Davey L. and Sally A. Marquith Benedict.

His grandparents, special aunts and uncles, including Keith McKinney and Dona Helms, preceded him in death.
He was raised and educated in East Galesburg, Illinois attending Knoxville High School in Knoxville, Illinois.
He was a carpenter and roofer and later worked for Dexter Farm Equipment.
Terry enjoyed time with family, especially bowling with his nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois. Bill Ebbing officiating. There will be no Visitation. Burial in Knoxville Cemetery at a later date.
