|Leon W. Mulhatten, 52, of Granville, W.V., formerly of Galesburg, Ill. died at 10:38 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2011 at home.
He was born May 30, 1959 in Galesburg, the son Thomas C. and Betty M. Riggs Mullhatten. He married Florence M. Hary on March 24, 1982 in Odessa, Texas. He later married Guadalupe Rivera on July 6, 2005 in Rock Springs, Wyo.
He is survived by a brother, Thomas Carr Mullhatten, Jr. of Galesburg; three sisters, Betsy Lee (Milo) Likes and Helen (Steve) Medina, both of Galesburg and Karen (Ricky) England of Rock Springs, Wyo.; and his special friend, Florence Mackey of Granville, W.V.. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Leon worked for NoMac Drilling in West Virginia as an oil rigger. He enjoyed boating, fishing and his job.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 in Henderson Cemetery. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
