Sandy Ann Noel, 72, 4351 Maple Dr., Galesburg, Ill. died at 4:40PM Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her home.
She was born on September 7, 1939 in Keithsburg, Ill. to Robert and Bertha Landrith Nylin. She married Leonard Hefley. Later she married Lloyd A. Noel in DeWitt, Iowa in 1984. He survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Dawn Ryan of Galesburg; a sister-in-law, Linda Nylin of Dallas City, Ill.; four grandchildren, Randy Lee, Jr., Douglas (and Samantha) Lee, Rachelle Lee and Renee Lee; nine great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kyla, Maveryck, Taegen, Isayah, Elyjah, Ava, Brandon and Jeremy. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri LeBlanc in 2008, and two brothers, Charles "Doc" Nylin and Dean Nylin.
Sandy worked as a printing press operator at Wagner Printing for 25 years, retiring in September 1993. She was a member of the Methodist church. She enjoyed bowling and cooking.
A memorial service will be 10:00AM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel with Rev. Jim Ecklund officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in DeWitt, Iowa.
