|Donna L. (Nutt) Hale, age 64, of Tucker, Georgia and formerly of Abingdon, died at 11:28p.m., June 19, 2013, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was born on October 29, 1948 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Elmer and Betty (Johnson) Nutt of Abingdon, Illinois. She married Michael Hale on March 16, 1968 in Burlington Iowa. Donna is survived by her husband, Michael; two sons, Christopher Hale of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Zachary Hale of Tucker, Georgia; one daughter, Wendy Hale of Burlington Iowa; a granddaughter, Zoey; her mother, Betty Kimler of Abingdon, Illinois; one sister, Ginger (and Sheldon) Mandel of Wataga, Illinois; two brothers, Elmer Charles Nutt of RR Galesburg, Illinois and Paul Kimler of Williamsfield, Illinois; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Nutt.
Donna grew up in Abingdon and graduated from the Burlington School of Cosmetology. Donna served with her husband Michael in the ministry in Wyoming, Florida, Missouri, as well as working at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington, Iowa.
Cremation was accorded. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West Abingdon Chapel.
