Scott, Joe
Joe "Eddy" Scott, age 78 of Wataga, Illinois died on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at his residence in Wataga, Illinois.

He was born on May 3, 1933 in Victoria, Illinois, he was raised by his mother and step father Ida and Fred Kennaugh He married Patricia Shoop on October 21, 1966 in Galva, Illinois. She survives of Wataga, Illinois.

Surviving is a daughter: Deanna "Chuggie" (Bill) Lovell of Galesburg, Illinois
A son: Danny (Sandy) Scott of Galesburg, Illinois.
Fourteen Grandchildren: Michelle Sparks; Molly (Jeremy) Kliene; Mick (Cathryn Liska) White; Dusty (Autumn) Scott; T.J. Scott; Jarrod Scott; Robert Young; Scott Young; Patrick Young; Samuel Young; Richard Young; Brittany McHenry; Cody (Lindsey Watkins) Schexnaider; Courtney Schexnaider; Jordan Lovell.
One brother: James (Lou) Scott of Knoxville, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father; and two daughters: Debbie Jo White and Dawn "Missy" Young.
Six Great-grandchildren.

He was raised and educated in Victoria, Illinois graduating from ROVA in 1951, where is played basketball. He worked various jobs, Robert Gordon Farm, State of Illinois Highway Department, Burlington Northern Railroad, Little John Coal Mine, and he was a self-employed Master Carpenter for many years and a very dedicated father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was a charter member of the Little John Conservation Club.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory in Oneida, Illinois.
