Audrey E. Anderson, 89, of New Windsor, died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Riverview Manor in Pleasant Valley.
Per her request, cremation has been accorded and there are no services. Private burial will be at Viola Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be sent to New Windsor Presbyterian Church or Tri-County Ambulance Service. She was born April 1, 1922, in Duluth, Minn., to Walter and Anna Savage Novack. She graduated from New Boston High School. She married Lyle E. "Johnnie" Anderson Dec. 31, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He died in 2003.
Audrey was a homemaker and assisted in the operation of their farm. She was a member of the New Windsor Presbyterian Church and enjoyed cooking, quilting and playing bridge.
Survivors include a daughter Jolene (Donald) Grenko, Bettendorf; and a grandson David Grenko, Jefferson City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Lawrence and Ervin Novack. |
