Diane Settle-Claiborne, 65, of 279 Michigan Ave., Galesburg, Ill. died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at home.
She was born on November 16, 1945 in Galesburg to Clarence and Margaret Settle. She married Cleatis P. Goodlow. She later married Al Claiborne.
Surviving is a brother, Anthony C. Settle; two sons, Cleatis (Max) P. Goodlow of Japan and Toby M. Goodlow of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Diane was an expeditor for International Freight Transportation for 40 years. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1964 and graduated from Black Hawk College in 1966.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Allen Chapel A.M.E Church. Rev. Tyson Parks will officiate. Repass will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Allen Chapel A.M.E Church. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
