Adah M. Stick, 91, of Galesburg, died at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Cottage Hospital.
She was born October 2, 1919 the daughter of Jess and Verna Morris Sholl. She married Robert E. Stick on January 13, 1968 in Galesburg. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1989.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra K. Lee of Galesburg and Roberta G. Currens of Bentonville, Ark; twelve grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two brothers and a sister.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Avon Cemetery. Rev. James Ecklund will officiate. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com. |
