Fuller, Russell William
Russell William "Bill" Fuller, 66, of Galesburg, formerly of Williamsfield, died at 2:20 AM, Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his home.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 1 at Rux Funeral Home in Galva. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the services with private inurnment at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

He was born William Paul Herring on March 1, 1946 in Peoria, IL, the son of Howard and Mary Herring. Between the ages of 4-12, he attended Gift Avenue Home and Illinois Soldiers and Sailors Children's Home. He was then adopted by Russell and Marie Fuller. In 1963, he moved to Williamsfield and was cared for by "Grandma Ethel." He married Nancy Irene McNaught on May 5, 1967 in Williamsfield. She survives, as do his two sons, Tony (Cindy) Fuller of Galesburg and Toby Fuller of Brimfield, three grandchildren, Madison, Kaitlyn and Kyle and eight brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten brothers and sisters.

Bill had worked as an operator for UMWA and was also a teamster. In his later years he held various jobs in construction, landscaping and farming. His hobbies included outdoor activities and hot rods. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill will be remembered for making his presence known as he always knew how to liven up any event that he attended.
