Miller, William E.
William "Bill" E. Miller passed away Thursday August 12, 2010, 10:17 am at the OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, IL.

He was born Sunday August 20, 1933 in Macomb, IL the son of C. E. Ed and Ruth Parsons Miller. He married Janet B. Braun on November 28, 1953 in Roseville, IL. He is survived by his wife Janet B. Miller of Roseville, IL; three daughters Nancy (Paul) Blackburn of Beijing, China, Cathy (Larry) Nevins of Rock Island, IL, and Diane (Brian) Belluomini of Cary, IL; 6 grandchildren Adam and Andrea Blackburn, Jenna and Benjamin Nevins, and Mary and Jill Belluomini. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill was born and raised in the Swan Creek and Roseville community areas.

He graduated from Roseville High School and also graduated from Western Illinois University. He served in Germany during the Korean War in the 18th Engineer US Army. He was a partner in Insurance Co. Miller-Jahn and later Miller-Farr, and then he had his own Bookkeeping and Tax Service for over 30 years. He photographed football games for Roseville High School and was the Official Timer for basketball games and was a timer for track. He served as Roseville Village Clerk for 29 years. He was a member of the Roseville Lions Club, and the Roseville United Methodist Church. He loved to travel and enjoyed photography and especially loved his family.

Funeral service will be Saturday August 14, 2010, 11:00 am at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Point Pleasant Cemetery, Roseville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Roseville Ambulance service. Please sign the guestbook at www.cormanmh.com.
