|Teneshia R. Hamilton, 17, Galesburg, died at 2:55 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at home.
She was born December 20, 1992 in Galesburg the daughter of Bobby Hamilton and Robyn L. Jackson.
She is survived by her mother, Robyn Broadfield, her father, Bobby Hamilton, step father, Alan Broadfield, step mother, Lisa Arlishar Devers, grandparents, Emma Sargent and James Blackwell, her daughter, Tiana L., six brothers, Troy Hamilton, Anthony Hamilton, Bobby Hamilton, Jr., Kevin Hamilton, Terrence Johnson, and Cidny Hamilton, two sisters, Chante Johnson and Rashon Broadfield, three step brothers, Jimmy Broadfield, John Britton, and Marcus Britton, two step sisters, Nicole Burns and DePrince Britton, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Teneshia was about to start her senior year at Galesburg High School, where she was an honor roll student. She also was a basketball cheerleader. While attending Lombard Middle School, she played basketball and was a cheerleader. Teneshia worked as a hostess at Steak and Shake. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Teneshia was a loving, friendly person and a loving mother to Tiana.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Jon Sibley will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel.
