Wallin, Teresa A.
Teresa A. Wallin, 57, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Alpha, IL, died Wednesday August 18, 2010 in her home. Services are 11:00 AM Monday at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Woodhull. Burial is in the Alpha Cemetery. Visitation is from 3-7 PM Sunday at the Peterson Wallin Knox Funeral Home in Alpha where memorials may be left to the Bethany Lutheran Church, Alpha Cemetery Association or a charity of the donor's choice. Teresa was born January 24, 1953 at Ladd AFB Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska a daughter of Eugene and Alice Cole Wallin. She was confirmed at Bethany Lutheran in Woodhull, graduated from AlWood High School in 1971 and was a 1975 graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb.

She worked at Rockwell Manufacturing in Galesburg as an Executive Secretary until moving to San Francisco in 1977 where she worked at Bank of America as an Executive Secretary for 20 years. She then took a position as a Financial Analyst for Levi Strauss and Company in San Francisco until moving to Chicago in 2005.

Teresa was a special caregiver to her family and many friends who were experiencing health problems and was very involved in a variety of charity work while living in San Francisco. She was a fun and loving daughter, sister and aunt and a dear friend to many in her life.

She was a San Francisco 49er Football Fan, a San Francisco Giants Baseball fan, a recently converted Chicago Cubs Fan and was a lover of her families and friends pets.

Survivors include her mother, Alice Wallin of Alpha, 2 sisters, Jane Cashion of Chicago, Lynne Hines of DesMoines, IA, 2 nephews Ryan Cashion of Chicago, Patrick Hines of Des Moines, 3 Aunts, Helen Polk and Marty Plunkett both of Peoria, Il, Kay Cole of Alpha and many cousins. Her Father, brother-in-law, Dick Cashion, grandparents, 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles and several cousins preceded her in death.
