Johnson, Margie C.
Margie C. Johnson, age 75 of Knoxville, Illinois died on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at 3:44 A.M. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.

She was born on September 12, 1935 in Abingdon, Illinois the daughter of Harold R. and Mildred M. Trimble Moore. She was reared and educated in Abingdon and Galesburg, Illinois graduating from Galesburg High School.

Surviving is a son: Jim (Cheryl) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri. Five Grandchildren: Christopher Johnson, Carolyn (Tony) Setser, Aaron Barr, Nick Johnson, and Zach Barr. Two great-grandchildren: Tryce and Trinlee Sester. Two brothers: Virgil (Bonnie) Moore of Galesburg, Illinois and Gary Moore of Irvine, Texas. One sister: Connie Healey of Galesburg, Illinois. One Sister-in-Law: Lynn Conn of Knoxville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Rodney and Jimmy.

She worked as a purchasing manager for American Safety Razor in St. Louis, Missouri, then a bookkeeper and Secretary for Moore Electric in Galesburg, Illinois. She worked with the elderly at Intouch Day Care and the Knox County Nursing Home. She also assisted at the Knoxville High School during the lunch hour.

Cremation Rites will be accorded. Private Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.

To my Mother,
I miss you already yet heaven has a new angel and it is a happier place. You will always be in my thoughts everyday and I look forward to seeing you again. So many are saddened by your passing, and those that really knew you couldnt help but to love you. May your spirit soar high above the heavens. Thanks for everything. Your Loving Son.
